California’s Proposition 65 entitles California consumers to special warnings for products that may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm if these products expose consumers to such chemicals above certain threshold levels. We care about our customers’ safety and hope that the information below helps with your purchasing decisions.

A Proposition 65 warning means one of two things: (1) the business has evaluated the exposure and has concluded that it exceeds the “no significant risk level” or (2) the business has chosen to provide a warning simply based on knowledge about the possible presence of a listed chemical without attempting to evaluate the exposure risk. ATD Tools Inc., out of an abundance of caution, has elected to place the Proposition 65 warning notification on all products.

The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment is establishing the Proposition 65 website to provide the public with information on chemicals, products and locations often associated with Proposition 65 warnings. These warnings inform Californians about their exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

WARNING: This product may contain chemicals, including lead, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Tools:

WARNING: Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:

• Lead from lead-based paints,
• Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
• Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.

Your risk from exposure to these chemicals varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure, work in a well-ventilated area and with approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are specifically designed to filter out microscopic particles.
